A Couple of Fun Projects

Hey there! Here are a couple of fun projects that I made for a couple of friends. First is a Birthday box filled with some yummy Ferrero Rocher chocolates. I printed off a template for the box on the Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay cardstock. Then I went to town decorating the top of the box. I used my new Vintage Vogue stamp set. This is the first time I used this set... so much fun! The sentiment is from the Well Scripted stamp set.

Here is a view of the top of the box. I decorated it as if it were a card front... so fun. Love the colors too!

Here is a little peek of what is inside. Lucky for me, the chocolates fit perfectly inside! Doesn't it look so pretty? This is a fun way to wish someone a Happy Birthday!

Next is a Thank You card that I made to fit some candy bars inside. What better way to show your appreciation than to show it with candy!!!
Here is the front. Just slide off the ribbon and....

Mmm. Yummy candy bars! I had a lot of fun making these two projects! Maybe one of these projects will inspire you and get your creative juices flowing! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Congrats!

Hello everyone!!
I have spent most of the today getting paper crafty - gotta love those days! Here is one of the cards I made today. I absolutely LOVE the new Specialty Designer Series Paper Sending Love Specialty from Stampin' Up! Every sheet has beautiful sparkles all over which create great texture. I am totally hoarding this paper. I bought it to use in the next card class, but am finding out that I keep limiting the amount that I want to use. It is all Valentines-y, red, pink, and sparkles! Love it! It also coordinates with the new With All My Heart stamp set! Which also coordinates with the new Extra Large Fancy Flower punch!!! So much matchy matchy - gotta love that. ;) And don't you just love the new trim border punch found in the Sale-A-Bration catalog??! Anyway... back to the card. I thought this card would be perfect for a wedding or a new little baby girl. I also tried out the poofy flower technique. Turned out ok. Thanks for stopping by!

Getting Krafty

Hello everyone! Just a quick little card I made today. It is hard to see, but I used the Friendly Words jumbo wheel in versa mark all over the background of this card. It is actually quite nice in person. I am waiting for a big a package from Stampin' Up to come in the mail. I'm just itchin' to break out all of the new stuff. So I guess my newest of the old will have to do until that package arrives. I colored the flowers in Rose Red using a blender pen and went over the leaves and stem with the VersaMarker. Thanks for stopping by! Maybe next time I will have some new stamps to show off! :)

Kristina's Color Inspiration Challenge

When I first saw the colors for Kristina Werner's color inspiration challenge, I thought - um, those don't go together. Well, good thing she knows her colors. The colors turned out great! Definately nothing I would have chosen. Especially since there were 6 colors! I usually stick with 3. I made my own little swatch of patterned paper with the cute flowers from the For All You Do stamp set. I also used the little poka dot stamp from the same set to do the little coral piece. Love the color combo!! Thanks for stopping by!
