Flower Fest

I hope you all are having a great day today! I wanted to show you a couple quick cards that I whipped up the other day using the *new* Flower Fest stamp set! You can find this stamp set in the new Summer Mini Catalog! I made two cards using the same concept and colors, but changed it up just a bit on each card.

Hey there!

I have another quick card for you today! I wanted to break away from the bright colors I have been using lately, and went with a darker feel for this card. It seems like every time I use this set I always end up using brown. For some reason this stamp set just says "brown" to me. So of course I reached for early espresso.. my fav! This is a very simple card and I love how it uses two different kinds of ribbon.

Teacher Treats

Yesterday was Sierra's last day of Preschool, so I made these yummy treats for her teachers. I got the recipe and idea here. I made apple caramel cupcakes with a cinnamon buttercream frosting! YUM!!! I just layered two cupcakes in a jar and decorated the jar. I used some of the awesome fabric that Stampin' Up now carries for the lid of the jar, and of course I had to use the cute apple from the Tart & Tangy set! I LOVE that set! It is so simple, but sooo cute!!! I didn't get a picture of the top (I literally snapped a quick pic as I was racing out the door), but I made name tags using the four frames stamp set (coming out in the new catalog), and the decorative label punch! The overall look was soo cute and Sierra's teachers LOVED it!!! So easy and so cute!! You should all give the super cute Tart & Tangy stamp set a try!

Another monochromatic card! If you are ever struggling with colors for a card, just try a monochromatic color scheme! It always turns out so cute!! I kept this card very simple, and of course I *had* to break out the big shot! If you don't have a big shot, I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! I hope you enjoyed todays card and we will see you tomorrow!

Hi there! I hope everyone is having a great day so far! I really wanted to make a blue card for today. I just love Marina Mist and Baja Breeze. Especially when they are together on a card. I don't have nearly enough stamp sets that could be used for "boy cards", but this set is perfect for it! I absolutely love this set! This card is so simple and minimal! I love it when you can just whip a card together in no time! I threw in a little linen thread to add a touch of a masculine feel.

Hey there!

Have you had a chance to flip through the *new* mini catalog yet? If not, you need to do that NOW! It is full of super cute stamp sets, awesome color combos and one of my new favorites... *new* embossing powders!!! I haven't ordered anything from the new catalog yet (don't worry, I will!!), so I just grabbed an old friend (Vintage Vogue stamp set) and the three new colors of embossing powders and let my creativity take me away! I don't know that I have ever actually paired Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango together, but it is now my new FAVORITE color combo!! I LOVE being inspired by the awesome creativity in the catalogs! I hope you like this card, and I can guarantee there will be more using this color combo! Can't wait to order my new embossing powders!!!
