Fun with Color

Hey there!
My little girls and I had a craft day all day. I have been having so much fun with the new Awash with Flowers stamp set. It's funny how certain stamp sets just get your creative juices flowing and the possibilities are endless, but how sometimes other stamp sets just leave you blank and really struggling. It's been a while since I have had a new stamp set that just let the flood gates open with creativity. Awash with Flowers is that creative stamp set for me. I really love the two-step stampin'. I had a fun time creating monochromatic cards today. I need to get my fill of Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay before they are gone forever. I have really enjoyed the In Colors this year. Lucky for me (and all of us out there), Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede have made it into the Stampin' Up! Color Collections- Wahoo!!! Take a scroll down and see my four creations. I think these four would make a great gift for someone. A Thank You pack. Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to leave a comment! ;)

Awash with Target

Hey there!
I went into Target a few weeks ago, and immediately saw all their cute new signs displaying their new colors of spring. I was awestruck by one of their color combinations... Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Real Red! Mental note noted. When I finally received my Awash with Flowers stamp set in the mail, I knew this would be the perfect stamp set to go with my new favorite color combo. I finally had a chance to sit down today and make my card I have been thinking about non stop for weeks. I love it! I know exactly who will be receiving this card in the mail soon. I just love the two-step stamp, Awash with Flowers! So many fun options with this set! Thanks for stopping by!

Dear Father

Here is a nice Father's Day card that I made the other day. I don't have very many masculine type stamp sets. I thought Pocket Silhouettes would be nice. I used the curly tag label from Vintage labels and stamped the silhouette inside then punched it all out with the curly label punch. The sentiment is from Well Scripted. I did a little sponging around the edges to soften it up. I really like this card. Pleasing to look at. I think I say this every time but... I really really love the Vintage Labels stamp set. It happens to be free (until March 31) when you spend $50 on Stampin' Up products. Thanks for stopping by!

Plum For You

Hi there! Here is a quick and super easy card that I made today. I used the Sale-A-Bration set Vintage Labels. I have this set in clear mount, so what I did was randomly place the three label stamps on my large clear block, inked it all up, then stamped all the stamps at once. I think I stamped it two or three times to fill the piece of paper. I love the randomness of that technique. This set is really growing on me. The great thing about this set is that the three label stamps coordinate perfectly with three of Stampin' Up's punches! Love that! Hope you enjoy today's card. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Ruffles

Hi everyone! Here is a cute little card I made the other day. Once again I was inspired by one of Dawn's cards. She made a cute card with some really cute ruffles and I just had to give it a try. First I rolled the Very Vintage wheel in Crushed Curry ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Then I used the scalloped punch and punched out a few lines of scallops. I sponged the scallops a little with Creamy Caramel ink. Glued them on in layers and gave them a little fluffing. The cute border around the 'For You' is the Vintage Labels Sale-A-Bration set. I thought this card turned out so cute and fluffy. Thanks for stopping by! :)
